Welcome to Jagannath University Moot Court Society (JnUMCS).
The Jagannath University Moor Court Society (JnUMCS) is established to develop the art and skill of advocacy of the students of Faculty of Law, Jagannath University.
If you are a student of the Faculty of Law, become a member of the JnUMCS and we will provide you with the resources and opportunities for in-depth legal writing, legal research and trial advocacy at an advanced level. Membership allows you to learn about mooting. Additionally you might get to participate in the intra-department and inter university competitions. You will also get an opportunity to represent Jagannath University, network with judges and students from Bangladesh and abroad. The prospect of winning accolades, prizes and honor are just added bonus. So, join us today!

Our Philosophy
Jagannath University Moot Court Society (JnUMCS) is a youthful, energetic and vibrant organization whose aim is to train and nurture young legal minds in the art and skills of mooting i.e. legal advocacy. The society wishes to provide the passionate and brilliant students of the Faculty of Law with the platform and necessary resources to practice and hone their skills and knowledge of law and apply in the moot competitions. The cordial and competitive environment at the society will ensure the achievement of personal excellence of the individual members. JnUMCS wishes that the skills of mooting will be applied by the members in real life scenarios to solve legal problems, uphold rights and help the weak and disadvantaged.
Our Vision
Vision
The vision of JnUMCS is to unite the same minded brilliant moot enthusiast students, teachers and alumni under the same platform to develop and exchange ideas relating to mooting. The students of the Faculty of Law need opportunities to develop their networking and professional skills for their future careers. The society will act as an umbrella for developing those opportunities. Mooting is also helpful to develop the research skills of the students. So JnUMCS also hopes that the society will be a cradle for future legal researchers. The society will also communicate with other national and international moot societies to participate and organize moot competitions.
